Riddley Walker was sort of a Proto-Nothingness, where I did my singer/songwriter, guitar etc. player thing with drummer Byron Peters, and bowed guitar/bass player Caton Diab. We played very few shows, and none of them sounded as full as this album does. We started tracking it on Saltspring Island the week Stephen Harper won a majority, and Osama Bin Laden was killed. The rest was finished over the following year or so, in Vancouver.
